There was a good vegetable market where we stocked up on food. Some local knowledge is necessary to know that an Avocado should be 2 1\/2 pence and not an &#8216;extortionate&#8217; 10 pence! &#8216;Mzungu&#8217; (White person) prices persist, double it and then double it again! The &#8216;problem&#8217; being that difference is small but we need to improve our bargaining skills!<\/p>\n<p>Some thunder and heavy rain yesterday perhaps indicating the start of the short rains.
