Don’t underestimate how much there is to organise. You will need to organise the following
* Formulate a Budget
* Organise immunisations (get advice from your local surgery, private sector price guide attached) and anti-malarials
* Organise Documents for the vehicle including a carnet de passage en douane
* Arrange Shipping for the vehicle (this may take three weeks by sea to/or from South Africa)
* Overland preparation of the vehicle
* Insurance for the vehicle
* Travel Insurance policy and any other policy needed e.g. for Photographic equipment
* Renting out your house
* Plan and research your route, get books, maps, GPS etc
* Get medical supplies
* Organise money
